View Full Version : The Bash Vision
It is our desire to see Mountain Home as well recognized in the hotrod world as Stirgis is in the motorcycle world. Focused on family friendly we would like to see the Bash be a place where father's and son's, mothers and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren can come and create positive memories. Also a place where old friendships can be renewed and new one's started.
The Buckethead Bash will be a place where the cars are the star's but the focus will be on the fellowship surrounding this thing called a T Bucket.
The event is the participants and as host we do not intent to be content with good enough. It is our goal to make all who want to be a part of the Bash feel welcome and involved leaving satisfied but wishing it could last longer and looking forward to the next years Buckethead Bash in Mountain Home AR.
See you all in July! Man I can't wait!!!!

hey b.c. do we have a count on how many registrations have already been recieved? i was just wondering.
I'll have to ask Mr. Hulkamania to be sure but I think it's just short of 60. We can expect about 30% of what is preregistered to register at the show based on the past. I know personally of a lot of folks who said they are coming but have not registered yet. We just did a mailing of about 1800 targeted names and are starting to get some calls from that. I have flyer's for anyone who wants to hand them out. (maybe we can put a PDF up so people can print the flyer's and use it)
The past 2 years in Mountain Home I believe we had about 250 register but I don't know for sure cuz I did not handle that. I'm pretty sure the year the NTBA nat's was in Omaha there were about 100 buckets there.
If you want to know how many I think there will be I would guess where will be about 150 people here with there T Buckets. I also believe the town support will be much greater than the past because people are defiantly aware of the event now so any thing we promote to the general public should see some pretty high numbers.

Darnit, that reminds me to put together some banner graphics that people can use in posts on other forums or to put on their web sites. Try to raise awareness and drive traffic. I'll see if I can get some ready by the weekend. :D

i'm not really sure whats going on between the bash and ntba and i haven't seen any thing negative on the bash site, but i have noticed it on ntba. so if your a member of ntba , i would like for anyone who reads it on the ntba site to reply on their feelings. and if i'm missing something fill me in. thanks ronnie its in mobbs under buckethead bash.
"Bucketheads United for the Good of All" That is a quote that could have a name attached to it. It will be the theme of this board. The Buckethead Bash has no affiliation with the NTBA but anyone who has an interest in T buckets is welcome on this site and at the Bash no matter what there club affiliation. On this site we will have the policy of. " If you don't have anything good to say don't say anything" (author unknown) We will delete any post on this board that does not follow that policy immediately and we have the ability to block IP addresses if the offender continues.
Many great friendships have been built around cars and we wish to continue that tradition with this being just another venue among many.

So far .... knock on wood .... it's been a very mild summer. Highs only in the low 90s. Most days have been mid to high 80s with low to mid 70s at night. Everybody say a prayer for continued weather like that. :D
