I'm building a Spirit T and I'm ready to order a set of rims and I need to know how to determine the back space of the rim. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm in the same boat . What is a workable backspace if you are planning on using a P295 or a 305 on a 10" rim?, and does it matter whether you use a shot or long tailshaft transmission or which is best
I have a Spirit Chassis with a CCR Body and 20" bed. It has the Ford 8" rearend. I have American Racing Hopsters wheels, 15x6 upfront and 15x10 in the rear. the backspacing is stock. Tires are 29X15.5\15R Hoosiers. http://forums.bucketheadbash.com/gallery/image_448.jpg

I used a short tail shaft in mine car.
