Bash 2012

I spent 10 minutes searching to try to find the date for 2012, and can't find it. I'm trying to plan a round trip from Toronto to include the NTBA Nationals and the Bash.... A date would let me know if it's even doable.... Can anyone help? ...Ted

I think Bob was thinking the first week in June, however on Oct. 25th he said he would finalize the date by the end of the week. I think he probably got really busy. Maybe he will see this and respond.

I did see that post, and noticed that it had not been replied to..... Hopefully the decision will be made soon.... with the NTBA Nationals being only 9 hours from the Bash.... it would be nice to attend both in one two week trip....BUT.... I need some notice to book the time off work.....Ted

Any chance of the dates either being right before or right after the NATS in St. Louis, for us that have to travel 2000 miles to get into the "neighborhood" of the two events?

Ted, I think BC is having a hard time trying to decide either to keep it in July or move it to the week before or after the NTBA Nats in June.

Will not be able to satisfy everyone!! We all can't take 2 or 3 weeks off at one time.

Agreed, but not all of us can drive 1/2 way across the country twice a couple of weeks apart either. I think if the two events, which are relatively close, were on consecutive weekends (each event I assume ends Saturday night, that would give a couple of days if needed to drive the nine hours from one event to the other) both events would benefit with a higher turnout.... the NTBA event is already set... we will just have to sit back and see when the Bash ends up and make our decision then .....Just the new guy adding his 2 cents..... I would be for one event starting just a day after the ending of the other event. I don't know what I would do with a free week in the Midwest. I guess I could soak in the humidity no pun intended.

The decision to change the date was not hard I have just been very busy and have not done much social networking. The dates are 25-30 of June 2012. We have also nailed down the dates for the next 5 years. The last week of June. If anyone can't make this year but wants to come next year this date is firm and there are no plans to change it.
We are also doing a 2 day Fall event on Sept 7-8 2012

Okay - trying to get to the 2012 Bash in June - anyone near the NY area doing the same and want to meet somewhere to help break up the drive?

Still not sure if we are going to drive or tow our bucket? Need to see how things go, but if she's running, we're going.

Anyone else interested?
